All America Eagle (Dominica) flights originate and terminate at the Puerto Rico hub, whereas LIAT, the Caribbean airline, has multi Caribbean flights and Dominica flights originating in several islands, mainly Antigua to the north, St. Lucia and Barbados to the south. LIAT provides the greatest number of Dominica flights providing access to over 32 Caribbean destinations. There are several small craft operators with Dominica flights out of the Canefield Airport with flights to and from the islands of St. Martin, the BVI, Guadeloupe and Martinique.
St. Martin, Barbados, St. Lucia and Antigua are hubs for airlines such as Air Canada, Continental Airlines, Delta Us Air, Virgin Atlantic, KLM and British Airways.

Several smaller and private Dominica flights operate primarily out of the Canefield Airport in Dominica, including BVI airways, which have Dominica flights to St. Martin with connections to Tortola. All outbound Dominica flights must undergo strict security measures; there is a fixed departure tax for passengers exiting Dominica. It is expected that the number of Dominica flights will increase with the expanded capabilities of the Melville Hall Airport.
